This is such a great question! The number of images you’ll receive can vary depending on the flow and specifics of your session. Every shoot is unique—some may include multiple locations (with drive time in between), detailed product styling, or several outfit changes. All of these factors can affect the total shooting time, which naturally impacts the number of final images.
That said, I don’t place a cap on the number of images I deliver. My focus is on providing you with as many high-quality, versatile photos as possible—ones you can use across your platforms for a long time. However, to give you a loose ballpark:
For a 30-minute session, you can expect 25+ images.
For a 2-hour session, you can expect 80+ images.
These are typically modest estimates, and I always aim to deliver as many great images as possible while staying true to your brand’s story and the goals we’ve set for your session.

Great question! Brand sessions are custom-tailored to your brand. So, after booking, we will have a strategy phone call to discuss ALL of the details of your session, including location.
Several of my clients don’t have a storefront or office space, so if this is you, not to worry! I will make location suggestions based on the type of images we are trying to achieve during your session. Including, but not limited to…
- Your office/workspace (if applicable)
- Peerspace rentals that fit your brand aesthetic
- Shopping centers, urban locations, coffee shops, outdoor settings, in nature, etc. -
Believe it or not, I hear this from almost every single client I work with. I love to remind all of my clients that you/we are not models! You don’t have to be good in front of the camera, that’s where I come in!
My job is to make you look and feel your best. Photography is not just about taking pretty pictures, but a huge part of it is interacting with clients and giving great direction. And as humbly as I can say this, this is one of my strengths as a photographer.
I will walk you through every step of our session, giving you lots of direction along the way. And I am always looking out for stray hairs, the dreaded double chin, and hair ties on the wrist. I got you!

These two terms get tossed around a lot, so if you’re not sure which one you need, don’t worry—you’re not alone! Here’s a quick breakdown to help:
Headshots
Headshots are primarily taken from the waist up and are all about you. They’re great for profile photos, your "About Me" page, or anywhere you want a clean, professional look. These sessions are straightforward and don’t typically factor in your brand’s overall direction or personality.Brand Photos
Brand photos, on the other hand, are where the magic happens! They’re more than just photos—they’re storytelling for your brand. Yes, we’ll include classic headshots (because everyone needs those), but we’ll also go much deeper. Brand sessions include a variety of images, like full-body shots, waist-up photos, and natural lifestyle photos that capture you in action. Here’s the difference-maker: brand photos are custom-tailored to your business. Before your shoot, we’ll have a strategy call to do a deep dive into your brand and its goals. We’ll chat about who you are, what you do, and the story you want to share with your audience. That way, every photo works hard for you, whether it’s used on your website, social media, or marketing materials.
Think of it this way:
Headshots say, “Here’s me.”
Brand photos say, “Here’s me, my story, and why you’ll love working with me.”
Still not sure which one you need? That’s totally okay—I’ll ask you a few questions to figure out exactly what you’re looking for and help you choose the session that’s the perfect fit for you!

There are so many photographers out there who can take pretty photos and call it a “brand session”. But do they know how to apply strategy to them? My marketing degree and experience with brand development are what set me apart.
Each business is different, and so are their needs! I consult with each of my clients to discuss their brand in detail. We also discuss business goals and make a plan to capture photos that will help push their business forward.
I encourage clients to remember that this is an investment in your business! Before you go looking for the least expensive option out there, consider if your money is being well spent. Will it result in a return on investment?
